While we would never want to stifle your creativity, the fact of the matter is that fans are often viewing your creative work on devices with size limitations.
In this article, we’re going to offer our recommendations for sizing images and videos for iFans.
Profile Images
Profile images will be cropped in a circle format, so make sure all your elements you want visible are contained within the circle, with the canvas in a square shape.
Dimension requirements: Min size: 400 x 400 px
File Formats: .jpg, .png, .gif, .bmp.
Max File Size: 10MB
*Important: Profile images MUST NOT contain any graphic nudity. Remember: if it's allowed on Instagram, then it's allowed as an iFan's profile image.
A square image with 1080x1080 pixels is optimal
Cover Images
Cover images run along the top of your profile and profile card.
Dimension requirements: Min size: 640x320px. Maximum height 1000px. No Maximum Width
File Formats: .jpg, .png, .gif, .bmp.
Max File Size: 10MB
*Important: Cover images MUST NOT contain any graphic nudity. Remember: if it's allowed on Instagram, then it's allowed as an iFan's cover image.
Post Images
No size requirements now for post images.
Message Attachments
No size requirements now for message attachments.
High resolution images
We do optimize post images for the web and varying devices. If you are using our Image or Video post option, the optimized version will appear in your post feed.
When fans click on the image, the image will expand to its original uploaded size.
Videos
Supported video formats include .mp4, .mov, .avi.
Resolution: 6000 x 6000 px maximum
File size: 3GB
You can publish up to 20 photos and videos per post.
